Founder of Anamma, Instructor
Anastasia Kandaraki was born in 1983 in Athens.
In 2005 she took her first degree in “Marketing and Advertising” at Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki (ATEITH). Being a restless spirit and having grown up in a family of goldsmiths she was looking for something more creative. She started experimenting with jewelry in her father’s workshop until one day she decided to begin her studies on the art of jewelry. She studied one year at silversmithing and jewelry design school Mokume in Athens and then, in order to develop her artistic skills, she went to Florence, Italy, where she completed a three-year study of designing and manufacturing jewelry in Alchimia School (school of contemporary jewelry). She is taught by renowned artists and teachers in the field of contemporary jewelry such as Peter Bauhuis, Lucia Massei, Doris Maninger, Manfred Bischoff, Ruudt Peters and Robert Smit. In 2012 she attended a contemporary jewelry workshop with Christoph Zellweger. In 2014 a workshop with Charon Kransen and in 2015 a workshop with Jorge Manilla. Since 2008 she has been participating in exhibitions both in Greece and abroad.
Currently, she lives and works in Athens. In 2011, wanting to share her passion for jewelry she decided to create Anamma studio, where until today she teaches and organizes contemporary jewelry seminars and exhibitions.
Having grown up in a family of jewelers’ Olga Kandaraki decided, at an early stage of life, to follow the family Business.
In 2000 she graduated from the Department of Business Administration of Athens University of Economic & Business.
During 2000-2001 she studied JEWELRY DESIGN at “LE ARTI ORAFE” Jewelry School in Florence and graduated first in her class.
Since 1994, during her studies in Athens was occupied in the family business “KANDARAKIS” at the sales and marketing department.
After her studies in Florence was occupied also as the business’s designer. During 2003-2012, she also teaches JEWELRY DESIGN (Technical design & rendering) at the “MOKUME” jewelry school, in Athens.
During 2006-2012 starts a collaboration with “ILIAS LALAOUNIS JEWELRY MUSEUM”, offering jewelry design
In 2006, starts to present her own jewelry creations to the public.
She has also participated in two international designing contests.
In 2002, at the “SIGNITY-HOMMAGE 2003”, One of her designs produced by PORTA RASELLI Spa was exhibited in June 2003 at the VICENZAORO fair.
In 2007 participated at the “LE ARTI ORAFE-GANZAM PROJECT” designing a collection o 15 pieces made of Gold 18k, blue topaz and brilliant cut diamond. In 2012, she and her sister Anastasia Kandaraki take charge of the family business, “KANDARAKIS gold & silver workshop”.. Olga starts the jewelry design seminars in ANAMMA. She creates also 4 new jewelry collections made of silver and bronze: “NEW YAER THEME”, “EASTER”, “OMIKRON”, “SYMBOLS”
Dimitris Nikolaidis was born in Athens, in 1960.
He graduated from high school in 1980.
He studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts, from 1983 to1988.
His occupation with the design and construction of jewelry starts in 1987.
He was taught techniques of processing metals by the painter and jewelry maker Giota Kaliakmani and the silver-goldsmith Cristophoros Prineas.
In 1995 he attended a Gemology Seminar, by the Greek Gemological Association.
He has been a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts in Greece.
He has participated in group and individual exhibitions in Greece and abroad.

2005 Participation in the Exhibition “Silver Art-European Heritage and Modern Design” Byzantine Museum of Ioannina, Greece.
2006 Participation in the Exhibition “Elaias Enkomion (In Praise of the Olive)”, under the auspices of the Academy of Athens, in the building of the United Nations, New York.
2011 Individual Jewelry Exhibition “Inspired by Kterismata” in the Benaki Museum, Athens, Greece.
In 1990 he was awarded the second prize in the Panhellenic Competition of Artistic Jewelry, organized by the House of “KESSARIS”.
Since 1995, he has been teaching design and construction of jewelry in training workshops for adults.
